Solidarity with Air Canada flight attendants

Statement from Rubina Boucher, National President of the Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU).
The Canada Employment and Immigration Union stands in unwavering solidarity with Air Canada flight attendants.
These workers are bravely resisting an unconstitutional federal back-to-work order. Their struggle is not theirs alone—it is a struggle for all of us in the labour movement. By holding the line, they are defending one of our most fundamental freedoms: the Charter-protected right to strike.
When the government moves to take away those rights, it is an attack on every worker.
CEIU proudly joins the broader labour movement, led by the Canadian Labour Congress, in a united fight-back campaign.
I encourage all CEIU members to show up—to attend demonstrations, to take action, and to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with workers across Canada.
Solidarity with the brave Air Canada flight attendants!
Together, we will defend our rights, protect our hard-won gains, and ensure that workers’ voices are not silenced.
