National Conferences
National Conferences
CEIU national conferences, established under CEIU’s By-Laws and Regulations and rooted in PSAC’s democratic framework, bring members together from across Canada to discuss workplace, labour and equity issues, share experiences, and adopt resolutions that shape CEIU’s national priorities. These gatherings strengthen engagement, ensure diverse representation, and guide the union’s direction between conventions
Getting involved
Calls for participation are sent out before each conference, with selection based on established criteria that align with the event’s purpose and best practices. All members are welcome, and we strongly encourage new members to get involved. The best way to participate is to get involved with your local, regional, and/or national committees
being involved
Participation does not end with the conference—we encourage our activities to share and apply newly acquired knowledge in your workplace and local to strengthen collective action. Reflect on how you bring these lessons back: How have you used what you learned? How do you share your story to inspire others?
Each conference builds our capacity, deepens solidarity, and prepares us for the next challenge.
We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming CEIU event and to the new voices and energy you will bring to our union!
