CEIU National Convention
CEIU National Convention
The CEIU National Convention, established under CEIU’s By-Laws and Regulations, is the union’s highest decision-making body. Held every three years, it brings together elected delegates from all regions and locals to debate resolutions, set CEIU’s policies and priorities, and amend the By-Laws and Regulations that govern the union.
At Convention, delegates also elect the National President, National Executive Vice-President, and National Vice-Presidents who will lead CEIU for the next term. The event provides a forum for members to shape CEIU’s direction, strengthen democratic participation, and ensure that decisions reflect the collective voice of the membership.
Observers and alternates are welcome to attend, and calls for participation are issued well in advance in accordance with CEIU’s governing documents.
The Convention is where members come together to celebrate achievements, address challenges, and plan for the future of their union.
