Who we are

Who we are

The Canada Employment and Immigration Union is a component union of the Public Service Alliance of Canada.

CEIU represents more than 32,000 members in 155 locals from coast to coast to coast.

We represent members at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC); Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC); and the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB).

As a union, we protect and improve the rights, interests, and well-being of our members by enforcing workplace rights, and challenging decisions that threaten jobs and public services.

Through locals, committees, and training, we build member leadership, strengthen health and safety, and advance human rights for our members and community!

CEIU is member-led and action-focused. By organizing together, we improve our workplaces, support one another, and build real solidarity across the labour movement.
