CEIU is hereby calling for nominations for Alternate National Vice-President positions.

Nominations must be submitted using the nomination form by June 22, 2026 at 9:00 pm ET by email to vote@ceiu-seic.ca. Late nominations will not be accepted.

To be eligible for Alternate National Vice-President positions, the nominee, nominator, and seconder must be members in good standing and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Convention Call for each position. 

Each nominee may submit a candidate resume with their nomination. The resume cannot exceed 300 words and resumes longer than the maximum will be cut off. A photo may be included. Late resumes will not be considered. During the election period, resumes will be available to all members when voting online.

Candidates and their supporters must follow the CEIU Campaign Guidelines. Candidates are invited to review Policy 18 for their rights and responsibilities during elections. 

Elections for Alternate National Vice-President positions will take place from July 6th to 13th. The election will be administered by a third-party, Simply Voting.
