Sign on against privatization at Canada Post

When the government starts to privatize, such as the move at Canada Post toward the contracting-out of work at call centres, it’s a message we should heed — and respond to. Sign the online petition against this privatization and let the government know that privatization anywhere – at Canada Post, or Service Canada, CIC and the IRB – is not acceptable.

In addition to moving to the contracting-out of call centres, Canada Post is looking to do the same at the National Philatelic Centre in Nova Scotia. Over 300 jobs would be lost in Fredericton, Antigonish, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Edmonton if these plans proceed.

To sign the online petition against Canada Post’s plans, visit the PSAC website. It takes less than a minute to support PSAC members at Canada Post and to send the government the broader message that we oppose privatization anywhere in the public service.
