Ontario Region Collective Bargaining Conference gets it done

Mississauga, ON – C.E.I.U. activists from across Ontario gathered in Mississauga over this past weekend (November 4 and 5, 2017) to discuss the next round of Treasury Board bargaining for the PA table. They came from as far north as Sioux Lookout, as far east as Cornwall and as far south as Windsor- all with the goal of creating and prioritizing bargaining demands for our region.

Ontario Region NVP’S (Travis Lahnalampi and Nicole Ma) assisted the newly formed Collective Bargaining Committee of Denis Roy, Wendy-Ann Moulton, Ann Marie KuarSingh and chair Phil Matheson with bringing 45 delegates together in accomplishing some important work.

Following the request for demands sent by National President Eddie Bourque the committee was faced with a rapidly approaching deadline of November 10th . They pulled off an amazing conference for delegates with lots of positive feedback. Working collaboratively, delegates crafted over 45 Bargaining proposals, which were submitted in time to C.E.I.U National office! (with the top 20 prioritized)
