Long Standing SDA II File Coming to a Close

Further to the last message posted in November 2012 on the Canada Employment and Immigration (CEIU) website regarding the Service Delivery Agent-II (SDA-II), Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) and CEIU will be entering into a new agreement which will seek to compensate everyone who has self-identified following the signing of the 2011 agreement and for whom management confirmed their entitlement.

This new agreement will also finalize this long-standing issue and for that reason, individuals who occupied a SDA-II position at the CR-05 group and level in either Old Age Security and/or Canada Pension Plan programs between April 1996 and September 2006 and have not self-identified, are asked to come forward between now and March 31st, 2013 so they can be added to the list of individuals for consideration. Please note that any requests received after March 31st, 2013, will not be considered by the employer.

Despite the progress made in this matter, we are unable to provide a specific timeframe for completion. However, it is HRSDC’s intention to move as quickly as possible to complete this review and we thank you for your patience and cooperation.

To confirm that you are on the current list of payees for consideration, please contact Steve McCuaig, National Executive Vice-President for CEIU, by email at
