WHY PARTICIPATE?

The CLC offers our members an opportunity to participate in the broader labour movement outside the confines of the federal public sector. It is an opportunity to network, but also to learn about the struggle of workers across Canada, and ways in which we can work together to raise the bar for workers’ rights. This is also an opportunity to present and speak to resolutions affecting our members, raising awareness amongst the affiliated unions of the CLC about issues affecting us – such as Phoenix and Vegreville. Workshops for equity seeking groups also help develop our own activists as allies.

We encourage activists, where possible, to participate.
