New contract provisions now in effect

Local leaders, stewards and members are reminded that changes to the PA agreement became effective December 21, 2010. The re-opening of the contract amended leave provisions in three areas: Family-Related Responsibilities, Bereavement, and Sick leave for term employees.

The details of the changes are set out in a Memorandum of Agreement between the Treasury Board and the Union. In addition to the changes to leave provisions, the Memorandum provides for union participation in the Pay Modernization Initiative.
