SDA-II’s asked to identify themselves to speed resolution of long-standing grievance

As of April 7th 2010, the PSAC has entered into mediation talks with Human Resource and Skills Development to reach settlement on a long standing grievance relevant to those members who worked at Income Security Programs, Human Resources Development Canada as Service Delivery Agent 2’s from 1995-2006. One of the first steps in this process is to identify those individuals who had worked in both the in-person or front end units and those who had worked within our telephone units. To that end the employer has asked for our assistance in obtaining both the names and PRI numbers of the members concerned. The PRI number is required to assist in both identification and calculation for settlement purposes.

To that end we have created a confidential email address for this purpose and all emails received will be delivered directly to the employer for processing. If willing, members may provide their names and/or  PRI numbers to this confidential account. I urge your cooperation in assisting those individuals who may have transferred, retired, or passed on in the last few years and may not be aware of recent developments.

We thank you for cooperation and it is our intention to move as quickly as possible to resolve this grievance and to seek closure to this 15 year odyssey.

Please address your information to: SDA2@PSAC.COM
