Wearing black to support term staff

At its recent meeting, the CEIU National Executive decided to encourage members at Service Canada to wear black as a sign of support for term staff who are losing their jobs. On October 1, send the message that we still need our terms to deliver quality public services.

Workloads remain high in most offices across the country and our term staff is making the difference in our ability to deal with them. We appreciate our terms as co-workers and friends, and are calling on the employer to renew their contracts. Help send this message by wearing black on September 30 and October 1.
