Payments to CEIU locals and members during the postal dispute

Canada Post has now locked out CUPW members across the country. We support CUPW in their effort to stop the contract concessions being demanded by their employer and to reach an agreement acceptable to their members. Until the dispute is settled, CEIU will not be sending funds to locals and members that relied on Canada Post for delivery.

Where direct deposit arrangements are already in place, local dues rebates, expense claims and other payments will continue to be paid in the usual way. We hope that the dispute at Canada Post will be settled in the near future and in the meantime, CEIU will consider alternative forms of delivery only in cases where a member requires payment to avoid financial distress. Members facing such circumstances are asked to contact the CEIU office via email at chartrd@ceiu-seic.ca
