On election day, May 2, make the choice for our jobs, our families and the public we serve

There’s an important choice to be made on May 2, voting day in the current federal election. Ask yourself the following question, both as a federal public service worker and as a taxpayer:

Do you back spending $30-billion for unproven, problem-riddled fighter jets that were ordered without competitive bids? Or would you rather improve current federal services for families, seniors, the disabled, new Canadians and the jobless?

The current election is about choices like these; choices that affect your job and the public we serve. CEIU’s election information sheet sets out our choices in this critical vote and helps start the conversations we need to have with co-workers, friends and the politicians who want our votes.

Your local is getting copies and you can download it from this website as well. On May 2, vote for candidates who support federal public services and an accountable government.

Together, we can use the power of the ballot box both for job security and quality public services.
