Labour College of Canada now accepting applications

The Labour College of Canada is offering a four-week intensive program for union activists who want to enhance their leadership capacities. Two sessions, in April and August, will be held and the PSAC is offering five scholarships for Alliance members.

The College began its work in 1963 and continues to provide a high caliber of training to activists in the labour movement. An overview of the upcoming program (including application procedures) as well as course details is available on line. In addition, PSAC President John Gordon provides further information on PSAC support for candidates in a recent letter to the National Board of Directors.

Interested members must apply by November 25, 2010.
