CEIU triennial convention welcomes delegates

Delegates began arriving to CEIU’s triennial convention in Gatineau, Quebec on September 11. The convention will run from September 12 to 16 and will review the union’s plans for the future.

New delegates were provided training on convention procedures so they could participate effectively on the convention floor. A number of regions held caucus meetings in preparation for the formal start of the convention proceedings on September 12.

Members across the country will be able to follow the decisions made by delegates. Daily reports will be provided on the website and members can review the all of the resolutions under consideration in a separate section of the site.
