Nominations open for CEIU Citizenship and Immigration Conference

Members at CIC are invited to submit delegate nominations for the union’s Citizenship and Immigration Conference to be held November 6-8, 2009 in Montreal. The issues identified by delegates will contribute to the priorities pursued for union members at Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Nomination forms must be submitted no later than September 18, 2009, 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time). A total of 20 delegates will be selected to attend the conference and will be joined by the members of the CEIU National Citizenship and Immigration Advisory Committee. Please see the attached letter for more information.

An open group titled CIC Conference 2009 has been established on the CEIU Member Network. Members interested in learning more about the conference and discussing issues of concern to CIC members should join and contribute to the group.
