CEIU welcomes members from Sydney

Joining the CEIU on March 31, 2006 are members from the National Component of the PSAC. The CEIU welcomes these new members and looks forward to working with them in the days ahead.

Staff at the Sydney, Nova Scotia office of Citizenship and Immigration (CIC) were formerly members of local 80384 of the National Component. They now join CIC staff across Canada who are already members of the CEIU.

The members at the Sydney CIC will remain an independent local within the CEIU and will be part of the union’s Nova Scotia region.
