Few treats expected as team meets Treasury Board over Halloween

Your PA bargaining team meets the employer October 30 to November 2 and they’re looking to you for support. Mix your local support activities with an early celebration of Halloween and tell the Treasury Board to back away from contract concessions.

Dealing with the Treasury Board at the table is no fun, but your PA bargaining team is committed to pushing your issues forward over the Halloween period. The employer still has demands for concessions on the table and wants to change core working hours for some groups, notably staff at Service Canada. Your team will be defending your interests, so take the chance to show your support for them on October 30.

When your workplace comes together in Halloween activities, put bargaining news into the mix. The union is looking to improve your working life through its proposals, including salary increases, improved vacation and compassionate care leave as well as stronger protection against the contracting-out of your job.
