This is what your employer really thinks of you

Between March 25 and April 28, the PSAC is holding a strike vote for Tables 1 and 2. The employer’s offer to us is contemptible, and the union needs to make that clear to the Treasury Board. Use your vote to send the message that we deserve better.

Here is the employer’s three-year monetary offer to you:

• Year one: 1.75%
• Year two: 1.25%
• Year three: 1.25%

In the first year of the proposed contract, this is worth only:

• 32 cents per hour for a CR-03
• 39 cents per hour for a CR-05
• 42 cents per hour for a PM-02

Local meetings

Locals are urged to hold membership meetings to discuss this offer and the strike vote. Invite your National Vice-President or Staff Union Representative to attend as a guest speaker.

Jeannette Meunier-McKay, CEIU National President, has made $50,000 available to National Vice-Presidents to meet the cost of attending Local meetings. She has, in addition, directed all Staff Union Representatives to make themselves available for meetings and other activities aimed at building a strong strike vote.
