Red is for ready on October 6

CEIU members at Table 1 will be in a legal strike position on October 7. On the day before, October 6, CEIU is asking its members to wear red to work. Whether a subtle accessory or a full outfit, red is the message to the employer that we’re ready for strike action.

The government has shown no respect for the value of our work in this round of bargaining. If it had come to the table with a reasonable offer, these negotiations would have been over months ago. Now is the time for us to respond.
