National Scholarships

The national level of the CEIU has established scholarships to assist members and their families to meet the high cost of post-secondary education. Five scholarships of $1,000 each are available to union members, their spouses and their dependants.

Policy 31 (Scholarship Guidelines and Application) sets out the requirements for applicants. Each year notification will be sent to locals inviting applications and setting out the relevant requirements and deadlines.

The Canada Employment and Immigration Union is pleased to be able to offer five (5) $1,000.00 National Scholarships to CEIU members in good standing, their spouse, their common-law spouse (including same sex partners) and/or their dependant(s).

CEIU scholarship awards

CEIU is pleased to announce this year’s winners of its national scholarships. The union awards five scholarships of $1,000 each to members and their dependants, and this year they went to support studies in a wide variety of fields.
